2024 has just whizzed by for us Mortgage Wizards, but we couldn’t let the year end without a little look back at our achievements.
The year saw us welcome two wonderful new advisors to the team, as Amy and Rebecca joined My Mortgage Wizards. Turn back the clocks two years, to our inaugural year of 2022, and we were just a two-person team, and now there’s “lucky” seven of us working hard to secure the very best outcomes for our clients.
Mortgage Consultant Katie took on the biggest and most wonderful job of all, when she added baby Donlan to her family earlier this month.
It’s a pleasure to review the year, and it’s brilliant to receive so many 5* reviews from clients who’ve used our service, on Google. It’s a real testament to the value we add and so uplifting to hear that we made a difference to house movers, who took time to leave independent feedback for others to benefit from. To be referred to as a “mortgage fairy godmother”, “well worth the money” and providing “stress-free house moving” and “outstanding guidance and support” really makes our day, week, month and year!
2024 has seen us applying our magic to over £37million worth of mortgages and this enables us to continue our support of local charities. In 2024 we have fundraised and made donations to the Alice Charity, Dougie Mac and Emmaus North Staffordshire. It’s so appropriate for us to support this homeless charity that assists more than 800 households who need essential furniture and appliances, each year.
This year we’ve been investing in new systems such as a bespoke CRM system and ultra secure data transfer platform. Exciting plans are in place to launch these in 2025 and will support us Wizards in making our clients’ home moving journeys smoother, simpler and safer than ever. We’ve invested in the development and training of our people too, including seeing Kirsty start to study for The Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) qualification.
As My Mortgage Wizards move to a new year with energy and enthusiasm, we can’t wait to help even more people move forward to new homes in the year 2025.
